Choices Market Supports Community

On Saturday, October 20th, 2012 Choices Market, located at 3248 King George Blvd., celebrated Oktoberfest by hosting a barbeque in front of their store complete with a oom papa band!  The bratwurst barbeque was a huge hit.  We are very grateful to Choices Market and all their Staff for choosing Hospice as their beneficiary.
Jordan Armstrong of Choices Market presents a cheque to WRSS Hospice Society Associate Director Theresa Robson for their Oktoberfest 2012 Barbeque fundraiser.

Peace Arch Rotary Event "Hospice Noel" A Huge Success

White Rock Jan 21, 2013 - The White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society enjoyed a "Hospice Noel" fundraising event hosted by the Peace Arch Rotary Club.

This night of fun, great dinning and auctions, was held at the Washington Avenue Grill  November 22nd. With the help of MLA Gordon Hogg the live auction was a great success auctioning off many items including live Christmas trees fully decorated ready for delivery.

Darlene  Belziuk-Zanni, President of the Peace Arch Rotary Club, stated "Our club is so pleased at the success of our first Hospice fundraiser, the work the Hospice Society does is so important to our community".

Executive Director Catherine Ferguson said, "the $25,000.00 raised is incredible and will go towards building a much needed new Hospice Supportive Care Centre in the future. We are bursting at the seams and the generosity of the Peace Arch Rotary and the community has brought us that much closer to a new Supportive Care Centre. Christmas truly is about giving."
