We are a registered charity that offers our programs, free of charge, to those who are facing advanced illness, grief, or the end of life.  We must constantly raise funds through grants, legacies, our Thrift Store, and the generosity of our supporters.  Please help us to raise urgently needed funds for those who are at a very vulnerable time in their life.

Donations in Memory

You may choose to make a gift in memory of a family member, friend or colleague.  A card will be sent to the family advising them of your gift.

Donations in Honour

You may choose to make a gift in honour of someone special in your life. Consider this gift for a birthday, anniversary or some other special event.  Your ‘someone special’ will receive a card advising them of your gift.

Monthly Giving Program

Making a monthly gift is an easy cost-effective way to donate to the Society. You can give monthly through your credit card or have an amount automatically debited from your bank chequing account.

Corporate Giving Programs

Your employer may have a Matching Gift Program, whereby any gift you make to the Society may be matched up to a certain level.  Check with your company’s Human Resources (HR) Department for more information.

If your employer gives to the United Way, you may designate a gift to the White Rock

South Surrey Hospice Society on your pledge card.

TELUS Employee Campaigns
Through the TELUS Dollars for Dollars program, charitable donations made by employees and alumni are matched by TELUS dollar for dollar. 

Through their TELUS Dollars for Doers program, employees and alumni are rewarded for volunteer activities. Based on the hours volunteered, TELUS makes a donation to your charity of choice.

Annual Appeal

The Annual Appeal was started to reach out to the community and  give more people an opportunity to support the special kind of caring provided by the White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society. The appeal is held in November and December of each year.

Host a Fundraiser

Hosting your own fundraising event is a great way to support White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society.  It could be a birthday party in which the guests make a donation in lieu of a present,  it might be a ticketed event with a portion of the proceeds earmarked for Hospice, or it may even be a pledge drive spearheaded by a friend who always wanted to run a marathon.  Whatever your event, please give us a call (604-531-7484) or email us so we can help you get started.

Planned Giving

Leaving a gift in your will is a wonderful way to show your support for the special kind of caring that White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society provides.  Your generosity allows us to expand our programs, which are offered at no cost to our clients.  Your estate will also receive a tax credit that is applied to your final income tax return.  If you would like to make a gift to Hospice in your will, please call us at 604-531-7484 or email us.  Thank you for your generosity.
